Are Siberian Huskies the right breed for me?

This is a subtitle for your new post

Through the years we have seen people from every walk of life drawn to the stunning appearance and wild free spirit draw of this breed.  But we have also seen many people fail and its heart breaking to see these lovely animals moved from home to home or home to shelter because their owners haven't dont their homework . ( that said there's no judgement for life has a way of taking turns of events that we cant predict) But there are for sure certain breeds that will fit certain personalities and life styles better than others and Siberians are not easy lap / house dogs that will sit there for your every order without making their thoughts and feelings known.  But that stubborn free thinking trait is what makes them champions behind a sled. They have a gift of intelligence, endurance and toughness built for survival but it can wear you out!. And if you can understand and embrace that, allowing them a place to work and be who they are you will sure have a happier dog and a tired, happy dog makes for a a great bond, mutual respect and more obedient dog. If you are thinking of this breed please consider if you have the ability to get outside and really work with it. Get a cheap harness set up and allow it time to skijour or pull you or just run with it. You dont need a great training background; you just need committed time for a great thrill. Otherwise if you leave it bored and unfilled in its purpose it will loose heart and get into trouble.

( sounds kind of like people doesnt it )
